About Us

Located in Walnutport, PA, Whispering Spring Horse Farm sits on a 10-acre property.  The large two-story barn and farmhouse represents a piece of history when horses and mules were used to pull boats along the nearby canal. 

April and Darrin purchased the property in 1997, restored the barn to include 9 lighted stalls, an outdoor riding ring, wash down station, round pen, and grazing pastures.

We have a combined total of 45 years experience with horses including AQHA, IAHA, NRHA, NCHA, local and open shows, training horses, leasing, and providing lessons.  We offer professionally guided horseback trail rides and horseback riding lessons for adults and children. Board your horse in a quiet, beautiful setting at the base of Blue Mountain.  We are also close to State Game Lands, and State Parks for trail riding.
